These issues fall under general ‘standard’ issues such as allowing finished floor coverings of various thicknesses to be set level within a gym and other ‘specific’ requirements fall under acoustic, low profile or heavy-duty solutions. As examples, when Olympic Lifting with excessive weights is planned, sensitive neighbours require some acoustic performance or where there is a sub floor construction constraint.
